Zapier connects Agorify to over 1000 apps, enabling the automation of workflows between Agorify and various applications. For example, when a new attendee registers in Agorify (trigger), their details can automatically be synced to your CRM system (action) using Zapier.
Please Note: The Zapier integration with Agorify is available only with the Starter, Business, and Enterprise licenses.
Setting Up the Integration in Agorify
- Log into your Agorify admin account.
- Navigate to Organizer Settings and select the Developer tab.
- Click on 'Create a new API key'.
- In the dialog, name your API key and copy it. Leave the 'Valid Endpoints' and 'Events' fields empty.
- This API key will be used in Zapier when creating triggers and actions.
Understanding Triggers: New Register vs. New Attendee
- Register Trigger: This trigger captures the billing information collected during the initial registration step for an event. This data might be for the actual attendee or someone else, like an assistant or a person who purchases the ticket but is not the attendee.
- Attendee Trigger: This trigger is activated when an attendee activates a ticket. It collects details specifically about the attendee who will be participating in the event.
Setting Up the Integration in Zapier
- Log into your Zapier account.
- Click '+ Create' in the upper left corner and then 'Zaps'.
- Select the app you want to use for your trigger. If you want to use Agorify as your trigger, we currently support the following Triggers:
'New Registration', which includes the billing information of the person who purchased the ticket.
'New Attendee', which includes the attendee details entered. - Set up your trigger according to your needs and click 'Save + Continue'. If you use Agorify as your trigger follow the prompts to connect your Agorify account using the API key. Then, click 'Save + Continue'.
- Click '+ Add a Step', then choose 'Action/Search'.
- Select the app where the action will occur. If you want to use Agorify as your Action, we currently supports the 'Create Attendee' action.
- Customize the action as needed and click 'Save + Continue'.
- Test your Zap to ensure it works correctly.
- After testing, click 'Finish'.
- Name and activate your Zap.
This integration streamlines processes by automating the transfer of data between Agorify and other applications, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
