This guide will walk you through all the features of Agorify's Badge Creator, from designing custom attendee badges to printing them on-demand or exporting to PDF. The Badge Creator allows full customization depending on your plan—giving you flexibility to pre-print badges or set up on-demand printing with Agorify Kiosk.
Badge Creator Plan Features:
- Free: Use pre-made templates, edit text fields, generate attendee badges, and export to PDF.
- Starter: Full access to badge customization. Edit all elements in templates or design from scratch, add graphics, and export as PDF.
- Business: All Starter features, plus access to Agorify’s on-demand badge printing kiosk for onsite printing.
How to Create and Design Badges
- Access the Badge Creator
Click the pink “+” button to open the Badge Creator. - Choose a Template or Create a Blank Badge
Select from available templates or start with a blank badge (if blank, define your badge dimensions).

1. Attendee Items
Fields populated based on attendee data entered during registration or import:
- First Name, Last Name, Full Name (First + Last)
- Email - Attendee’s email address
- Affiliation - Company or organization
- Title - Position or title, e.g., “PhD,” “Director”
- Badge Type - Displays attendee type like “VIP”
- Attendee Type - Identifies the attendee role (e.g., Exhibitor, Speaker)
- QR Code - Adds a unique QR code for lead retrieval/check-in.
2. Generic Items
Customize forms and text to match your event branding:
- Text - Add custom text.
- Rectangle - Rectangular shapes for design accents.
- Ellipse - Elliptical shapes for additional style.
- Image - Upload logos or background graphics.

Layers
Agorify supports two default layers, Print and Kiosk:
- Print Layer: Ideal for static design elements you want pre-printed.
- Kiosk Layer: Use for attendee-specific info that will be printed onsite via Agorify Kiosk.
Tip: Use the layer preview toggle to see how each layer will appear individually or together.
Exporting Badges
To generate badges for all attendees:
- Click “Export Badge PDF” - This opens a dialog box to configure paper and layout settings.
- Configure Export Settings:
- Order By & Direction - Choose how badges are sorted.
- Unit - Set your page measurement unit (default: mm).
- Size - Select page size (e.g., A4) for optimized layout.
- Margin & Spacing - Adjust edges and space between badges.
- Mirror - Create mirrored badges for double-sided printing.
- Force One Badge Per Page - Choose single or multiple badges per page.
- Layer Selection - Select layers to include in the export.
Export for Specific Attendees:
Go to your attendee list, select attendees, and click the badge icon in the top bar to export badges for selected attendees.
